About Us
A Kurnool workshop that treats every opening as its own job
SM Glass & Aluminium Works has been supplying and fitting glass and aluminium in Kurnool since 2020. We work out of Chennamma Circle, near Sree Chakra Hospital, and we cover everything from a single replacement pane to a full set of office partitions.
What we care about is fit. A window that was measured properly closes with one hand and keeps the dust out; one that was guessed at needs packing, filling and a second visit. So we measure at the site, fabricate to that measurement, and check the finished work before we call it done.

Every opening is measured on site
We never work from a rough size given over the phone. Our measurements are taken at the site, checked for level and square, and used to fabricate that specific unit.

Made to your size, not adjusted to fit
Frames are cut and assembled to the opening we measured. That is what removes the packing strips, the filled gaps and the doors that catch on the frame after a few months.

The right section and glass for the job
Section thickness and glass specification are chosen for the span, the location and the exposure — not simply whatever is cheapest to quote.

Hardware chosen to last
Rollers, hinges, locks and handles carry the weight and take the daily use. We fit hardware rated for the panel rather than the lightest option that closes.

Enquiry & Consultation
Call or WhatsApp us with what you need. We talk through the opening, the material and the finish, and give you a clear idea of what suits the job.

Site Visit & Measurement
We come to the site and measure every opening ourselves. Levels, diagonals and structure all get checked — this is where fitting problems are prevented.

Design & Quotation
You get a layout of the panels, the section and glass specification, the hardware and a written quotation. Nothing goes into fabrication until you approve it.
04
Fabrication
Sections are cut, machined and assembled to your measured sizes, and the glass is cut, edged and toughened where required.

Installation
Our own fitting team installs the units, sets them plumb and level, fixes the hardware and seals the perimeter properly.
06
Inspection & Handover
We test every panel, lock and roller, clean up after ourselves and walk you through the work before we leave the site.

We are based at Chennamma Circle in Kurnool and work across Kurnool and the surrounding areas. If you are unsure whether your site is within reach, call or WhatsApp us with the location and we will tell you straight away.
Yes. For anything beyond a simple cut-to-size glass piece we come out and measure the openings ourselves. Quoting from measurements someone else has taken is where most fitting problems begin, so we prefer to take our own.
It depends entirely on the size and the specification — a replacement window is quick, a full set of partitions is not. We give you a realistic timeline in writing along with the quotation, once we have measured and you have confirmed the design.
Toughened glass is heat-treated so it is several times stronger, and if it does break it crumbles into blunt granules instead of long sharp pieces. It is the correct choice for doors, partitions, railings and any panel at body height, and it has to be cut and processed before toughening — it cannot be cut afterwards.
